Hi Guys,

The first full FAST combatives course will be held at the MMA Clinic on the 27th March from 11am to 4pm (5 hours) with two fully qualified FAST instructors.

The costs are:

£60 for MMA and Boxing Clinic members
£75 for non members

The course is strictly limited to 20 people so please pm me asap if you want to attend.

What should you expect from this course?

FAST is much more than a self protection system it is about empowerment, it is an experience that encompasses a roller coaster of emotions that leaves candidates walking tall and buzzing about what they have just accomplished and rightfully so.

FAST is a rite of passage.

FAST will strengthen you as a person to deal with the innumerable types of confrontations you may face on the street. But it doesn't end there, once you realise the nature of confrontation, the concepts and principles can be applied to every aspect of your life. We have had countless testimonials and feedback from men and women worldwide that testify that FAST has changed their lives. They are no longer scapegoats in the office, they can stand up to that bully in the family, they achieve true empowerment.

Candidates can expect to arrive a little nervous and maybe even a little apprehensive regarding the full on confrontational scenarios but through the course their awareness expands. Not just awareness of their surroundings but also of the true nature of the victim\attacker relationship, awareness of yourself and the ability to tap into your intuition. This awareness changes everything.

The candidates do not go through these confrontational scenarios alone, whilst one instructor "woofs" (instigates a verbal confrontation) the second instructor stands with the candidate, just behind them out of the line of sight and calmly coaches the candidate in what to do, in essence programming the candidate in their adrenalised state.

There are only a handful of physical techniques taught because FAST recognises that the vast majority of incidents can be resolved non violently through simple but powerful verbal assertiveness, posturing and presence.

You will be taught about the "interview" process, did you know that a potential attacker has a victim selection process? The way you behave and carry yourself can either give a potential attacker a green flag to instigate the process or a red flag to trigger them to look for a softer target.

This may all sound a little scary but rest assured FAST is a fun experience, if you get a chance to speak with any of the candidates from the taster session they will tell you there were more than a few laugh out loud moments, it was a great session that I myself enjoyed immensely.

Unfortunately can't make this one due to college commitments, but I will be forwarding the details to my friends who expressed an interest after I told them about the last course.

Hopefully in the future you'll do a bullet man course? Sometime after 15th June? hint, hint!

Hey Sam, this is the same one save there will be two instructors and it will last 5 hours instead of the 3 for the course you attended.
